SFBACC Tour of Turkey - 2010

SFBACC is planning a concert tour to Turkey in the summer of 2010. This will be the choir's 12th overseas tour since our first European trip in 1979.

SFBACC's Tour de France - 2006

SFBACC traveled to Europe in June and July, 2006, for our own Tour de France (not to be confused with the less vocally but more physically arduous Tour de France!). This was the choir's 11th overseas tour since our first European trip in 1979.

Over the course of 2-1/2 weeks, we performed 11 times as we made our way from Nice to Paris. We sang in St. Paul de Vence, Aix en Provence, Saint-Martin de Crau (a joint performance with the Galet-Jade Choir), Carcassonne, Albi, Le Bugue, Onzain, and Paris.

Summer 2003 Italy Tour

Prior to our 2006 France tour, SFBACC's most recent trip was a successful and fulfilling tour of Italy in the summer of 2003. Our 18-day journey featured concerts and sightseeing in Verona, Venice, Florence, and Rome, with other stops and side trips along the way.

	The primary program, "Music of the Americas," included compositions by Canadian, U.S., Mexican, Cuban, Venezuelan and Argentinean composers. We also included a short program of Renaissance motets for Mass performances at San Marcos Basilica in Venice and at St. Peters in Rome.

Past SFBACC Tours

Prior to the Italy 2003 tour in the middle of a scorching heat wave, we traveled to Central Europe during a cool stretch of weather in the summer of 2000. For three weeks in late June and July, we performed 9 concerts in 8 cities, including joint concerts with our wonderful host choirs in Münster, Braunschweig, Berlin, Leipzig, Dresden, and Prague.
